The City of Sachse is sponsoring a Photo Contest to provide pictures of Life in Sachse to adorn the city's new website which will premier in February 2010. The winners of the contest will have their pictures displayed on a rotating basis on the new site. Each photo will be labeled with the photographer's name, the subject of the photograph and date when the photograph was taken. There are no prizes being awarded just the opportunity for your photographic work to be displayed as part of the citiy's new web site.

Entry into the Photo Contest is an easy 4 step process:
  1. Register below for the contest. If you are already registered, use the Login button below.
  2. Receive a registration confirmation and account activation email at the email address provided in your registration.
  3. Click the activation button in the email to activate your registration and to allow you to login in order to upload your photographs.
  4. Login to the Photo Contest site and upload your photographs.

Contest Rules:
  • Photos must have been taken in Sachse, TX.
  • Subject of photos is to reflect Life In Sachse such as people, places, events, etc.
  • There is no limit to the number of photographs you may submit, however, please try and keep each photo file under 2 Megabytes in size.
  • In order to submit photos, registration with a valid email address is required.
  • All photos must be submitted in electronic form. JPG format is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The City of Sachse retains the right to use all winning photos on their new web site. By entering this contest and submitting photographs you are granting the City of Sachse permission to utilize your photos on their web site.
  • No compensation is being offered for the photographs.
  • Photographs must be originals belonging to the photographer. No copywrited material will be accepted.
  • Each photo chosen for the new web site will be labeled with the photographer's name, the subject and the date taken.
  • Winners will be announced on the new web site in February 2010.
  • The photo contest will run from December 7, 2009 until January 31, 2010.
