Owner-President Doug Cochran has over 25 years of experience in software development and project management with Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Music Composition. Doug began his computer career even before graduating from college in 1974.
After working for some large corporations such as Southern California Edison and moving to Texas in 1980 to work for Texas Instruments, Doug decided to strike out on his own in 1994 into the world of independent software development by founding Cochran Software. Cochran Software was founded on the philosophy that companies should be able to get quality software developed without having to increase their
programming staff. As a general rule, companies have enough staff to perform maintenance and do some new development. However, there are times when requirements exceed staff capabilities either in numbers or in skill set.
